With a BitKeep Optimism wallet, you can send, receive, and swap from/to OP on different mainnets. Also, you can experience the rich Optimism DApp ecosystem, NFT marketplace, and a variety of features that BitKeep Wallet offers. Get your own Optimism (OP) wallet now to explore more.
You can also use our OTC feature to buy USDT/USDC with fiat currency and swap for other tokens.
BitKeep Swap has the most inclusive Optimism (OP) market intelligence, including Real-time Quote, Token Price Chart (which users can choose to view by Day, Week, Month, or Year), Token Contract, Market Cap, Circulating Supply, Holders, Transaction Histories, and Data Analysis. BitKeep’s InstantGas Swap feature is handy for new OP wallet users, as it does not require users to hold the native token (OP) to swap for other tokens, such as USDT, USDC, DAI, or VELO, on the Optimism mainnet.
Jump to BitKeep SwapBitKeep DApp supports all kinds of DApps on Optimism (OP), including DeFi, NFT, GameFi, Bridge, Exchange, Mine, Tools, Social, and Loan. Users can add Optimism (OP) as their favorite token. Besides, all the latest and hottest projects are listed in the “New” section of BitKeep DApp. With the BitKeep DApp browser, you can switch between different mainnets, which include Optimism (OP).

Statistically, BitKeep NFT Market has more than 500,000 NFTs listed for sale, 10 million NFTs stored, and a monthly trading volume of $1 million, thus positioning itself as the largest NFT trading market on BNB Chain, the 2nd on Polygon, and the 6th in the whole industry by userbase and trading volume.
Jump to BitKeep NFT MarketOptimism is a layer 2 (L2) scaling solution that uses Optimistic rollups technology to bundle large amounts of transaction data into batches, making it cheaper than Ethereum. It functions on top of the Ethereum mainnet, and transactions occur on Optimism while the transaction data gets posted to the mainnet for validation. Optimistic rollups work by bundling the data about hundreds of transactions into a single transaction on the Ethereum mainnet, reducing the blockchain transaction fee required to pay. Optimistic rollups assume transactions are valid until proven false, and there's a time window during which potentially invalid transactions can be challenged by submitting a "fraud proof" and running the transaction's computations with reference to available state data. Optimism reimburses the gas needed to run the computation of the fraud proof. As a result, Optimism and other layer 2 scaling solutions, such as Arbitrum, are becoming increasingly popular for their cost-effectiveness and security benefits. Optimism provides a promising solution to the scalability challenges facing Ethereum, enabling more efficient and cost-effective transactions while maintaining the security of the mainnet.
Optimism is governed by its same-name native token, Optimism (OP), launched on May 31st, 2022. 214 million OP tokens were given for free to 231,000 eligible addresses in an airdrop, which represents 5% of the total 4.29 billion supply. The OP token provides participation rights in The Optimism Collective, composed of Token House and Citizens' House, a two-tier governance system. Token House governs technical decisions related to Optimism, while Citizens' House will govern public-goods funding decisions. During its early days, Optimism raised funds on Gitcoin, a significant public-goods funding platform. The majority of the OP token supply has yet to enter the mark. It is anticipated that the governance structure and allocation of funds will evolve as the Citizens' House becomes operational. OP token allows holders to influence and make decisions regarding the development of Optimism, which is essential to the platform's success.
A portion of the OP token supply was airdropped to early Optimism users, although the launch was turbulent. The criteria for awarding tokens included the use of an OP bridge before June 23, 2021, or repeated use of Optimism projects between June 23, 2021, and March 25, 2022. Active participation in decentralized governance, control over large pools of capital and key protocol functions on Optimism, a donation to Optimism on the public goods platform, and being priced out of Ethereum were also factors considered for receiving tokens. The developers behind Optimism have stated their intention to continue airdropping tokens in the future.
Yes, Optimism mainnet is now online. Its EVM-compatible mainnet was launched in 2021. Before that, Optimism released its initial testnet in 2019, followed by the first EVM-compatible testnet in 2020.
The simplest way to start using Optimism is by creating an Optimism (OP) Wallet in BitKeep, which can be installed via Google Play, App Store, or a Chrome extension. After installation, create a crypto wallet on the Optimism mainnet and start making transactions or exchanging for OP token via Swap.
